Vivint's installers arrived even before we had finished signing the contract, talk about prompt service! Their staff have all been very friendly and personable so far, and I had some good discussions while they installed the equipment. They were not pushy about selling me extra equipment after I explained that I didn't need it because I already had existing hardware and future plans for home automation, and was just in need of a modern alarm system that integrated well with my smart home and existing sensors. Their alarm panel is the best I've seen for sure, and is appealing to look at compared with most alarms, and has been very reliable. Their support staff have been helpful, and did not protest opening up the installer mode on the panel for me when I've wanted to do some advanced changes. When I provided them feedback on ways they could improve their system by adding compatibility between the alarm panel itself and third party systems, they sent me an email a week later saying that they liked the suggestion and forwarded it to their development team to look into feasibility and hopefully add it to their backlog for a future update. It might not be the cheapest system out there, but it's not too expensive, and their hardware and support has been excellent!
